We’re hosting a play by the children of the Northwest School, Seattle, Washington (Home of the Boeing B17!) at the Red Feather Club!

Written & Directed by Laura Ferri

Dedicated to the men and women who built and flew the warplanes of WWII

This play was researched and developed in conjunction with the Northwest School’s 7th Grade Humanities Class study of WWII and the 8th Air Force.

It is not a traditional play following a defined group of characters, but rather an exploration of the era through the lens of the warplane: the children and villagers whose lives were forever changed by the bombs dropped by the enemy, the women and men who built the planes, the men and women who flew them, and the ad hoc communities of people from very disparate cultures created on both sides of the Atlantic to fuel and win the war.

Hopefully, you will find yourself entertained as well as educated. These are just a few of the many stories of “those who love the vastness of the sky.

TIckets are £5 on the door

Show starts at 3pm on Sunday 20th July, 2014

On behalf of the 95th Bomb Group Heritage Association and the children of the Northwest School, we look forward to seeing you there!
